'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback
Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year deal he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the initial major honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he earlier was, and would definitely think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
